If the Shoe Fits, Lick It.

Here's what just may be the best thing in the whole wide world. Imagine, if you will, purchasing designer shoes at a mere pittance of their retail cost.

Imagine that hard, ok? It sounds so very, very good, doesn't it?

DIOR, baby. I don't care where they've been, if licking things meant that you owned them, I would've done it.

Co-worker Mindy's prettah foot in THIRTY DOLLAR BADGLEY MISCHKA SHOES. No joke.

Mindy sitting amid a pile of designer shoes. Kate Spade, Fendi, Coach, Dior, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Badgley Mischka,, Sam Elderman, Ralph Lauren, etc. It was the best day.

Now imagine that the mere pittance you paid helped an organization that provided job training to people with disabilities. Your mind was just blown, wasn't it?

Wiregrass Rehabilitation Center's WRC Market is like a cross between a TJMaxx and a dollar store, if dollar stores carried the most adorable pair of Marc Jacob's wedges you've ever seen in your life. Individiuals with disabilities are able to learn retail skills at the Market that make them employable to other businesses in the community. To learn more about WRC and their various job training programs, visit their website here. (It's a wee bit under construction right now, but you can still poke around.)
Check out WRC Market's eBay items up for sale by advance searching by sellers' name and type in wrcmarket. They don't have as much up right now as they did a couple of weeks ago, but it's not because I bought everything already. I swear. Or check out the homegoods items for sale on www.amazon.com/store/wrcmarket.
